Negative consequences of uncontrollable flooding of the stebnyk mine of potash salts (Precarpathia, Ukraine)
Intensive technogenic intervention in a habitat within distribution of saliferous sedimentation of Precarpathia has begun after 1950s years of the last century when potash minerals in Stebnyk and Kalush-Golinsky deposits began to be mined. Irrational conducting of works has led to breaking of geological, hydrogeology and geomorphologic conditions in territories of salt bedding with activization of dangerous exogenous geological processes at separate sites. In overwhelming majority of events the circumstances which have caused the negative phenomena (connected with activization of karst processes at ore mines) were consequences of the opening of underground sites and zones with saliferous sedimentations that are hypergenichanged. The reason of these was not enough level of scrutiny of geological and hydrogeology conditions of deposits.

The planet’s population is forecasted by scientists from all over the world to reach approximately 9 billions by the year 2050, and the world’s agricultural industry faces a very difficult and ambitious challenge to feed the fast-growing population. But the mankind has taken the easiest path: it started using natural resources excessively. The consequences of such an improvident treatment can be now observed across the entire planet. Salinization of soils, changes in the granulometric composition, repacking, the decrease in the content of organic matter, the growth in the population of vermin: these are real achievements of our civilization in the pursuit of the ambitious goal to feed the world.
ReSoil technology is aimed at the increase in productivity of soils, as well as at restoration of water resources.
Main elements of this technology are growing substrates, granulated ameliorant fertilizers, and structured water improved by organic acids and fecal concretions. The substrates developed by us are adapted to various crops and cultivation conditions, because they are made of organic fillers. They can be used as soil improving agents and as self-sufficient substrates. For large agricultural producers, we have developed a product line of granulated ameliorant fertilizers which are suitable for application using a mechanical method. The novel fertilizers perform 2 simultaneous functions: they provide nutriments to plants and change mechanical properties of the soil. Our customers have recorded the increase in the yield of plants by 19%, by contrast with chemical concentrated fertilizers.
